borntransient: My newest kitchen adventures are from Harumi Kurihara’s Harumi’s Japanese Home Cooking. First time making miso soup from scratch. Quite amazing compared to the plain saltiness of the pre-made instant stuff. Photos of the bowl were uninspiring.
